Ekigombe loosely translates “common group” in most Ugandan Bantu dialects. Community since time immemorial has been ingrained in the African societal fabric. Uganda, the Pearl of Africa has a diverse range of tribes, with different cultures, however the sentiment of community is shared.
Ekigombe strongly believes in community engagement through responsible travel. We provide a platform for people passionate about travel to share experiences and use this resourcefulness to impact the communities among which they do. So, whether you are planning to/or have been camping, hiking, on safari or vacationing, we believe the shared experience with the community has life-long lessons.
